Applicability of Kerala Professional Tax
Under this Act:
- Every employer or self-employed individual carrying out a profession, trade, or employment is liable to pay PT, either through self-assessment or deduction by the employer.
- Employers must deduct the applicable PT from their employees’ salaries and remit it to the respective local authority.
